WELCOME TO BERSERKR GRVL
4 Gravel Challenges on Historical Danish Viking Dirt – 4. August – 7. August 1st. 2022
Are you ready for one of the most demanding bike adventures / races in Denmark. BERSERKR GRVL offers 3 challenges, 400km, 600km or 900km, aimed at passing through as much historic Viking backcountry as possible. The routes are mainly gravel, on isolated roads, with supply stops far in between.
Come closer to nature, and experience a small insight into Danish history. Spend one weekend, away from everyday life, just you and your bike, on some of the finest gravel roads Denmark has to offer. You will ride through Danish national parks; National Park Mols., and National Park Thy, and all our routes pass several historic Viking settlement sites.
BERSERKR GRVL is an unsupported event, which means, you are responsible for food, drinks and navigating the route. Half way there is a Drop Box option, where a 20 ltr pre-packed (by you) box will be placed, and returned to the start, before you finish. Here we wait for you, with a nice burger and Mead / Mjöd, a cold beer or a soda, which ever you prefer.

THE BERSERKR CHALLENGES
Sleipniər 400 | Mjölnir 600 | Miðgarðsormr 900
Sleipniər is our fastest challenge. Sleipniər is also Odin’s gray eight-legged horse which is so fast, that when it runs, it looks like it is sliding through the air. Ride fast, ride like a beast, ride like Sleipniər.
ROUTES READY IN THE WEEK LEADING INTO THE EVENT
Mjölnir is a hard challenge. Mjölnir is also the hammer of Thor, it allowed him to strike as firmly as he wanted, and never fail, and if he threw it at something, it would never miss. Be like Mjölnir.
ROUTES READY IN THE WEEK LEADING INTO THE EVENT
Miðgarðsormr is tough. Jörmungandr as it is also called, means Huge Monster. Thor fought Miðgarðsormr twice, and lost, before finally defeating it. Beware of Miðgarðsormr.
